A friend that comes from up above
With goals that are so many
To guide and show us all the way
A friend with goals so many
Free will Free will the angels say
We know you must be ready
To call upon and ask for help
The angels strong and steady
To help us through our darkest hour
To help with joy and peace
Since life brings both they help us now
So we must just release
The fear and doubt that often comes
When trust is what we need
The angels come, they show us how
With love and grace, God speed
Towards the earth they use their wings
They know just where to go
Your house, my house, the girl next door
Whenever the need is to grow |
For faith and trust is what we learn
From their uncondititional love
A gift from heaven a special friend
Like wings upon a dove
They soar above our planet now
For needed they truly are
The wars, the hate, so unlike love
The angels near and far
So let them in and let them do
The work they do with love
For angels they are everywhere
A gift from God above
