Because Americo Michael: Surrounded by Angels is truly about transformation it is my intention to bring this out into the world as a charitable and loving gift, not only to all who read the writings, but in donations to causes that I feel a true transformation can take place.  One cause in particular is “The Garden of Angels” located in Yucaipa, California.  Created in 1996 by Debi Faris-Cifelli, this wonderful heartfelt woman has brought hope and love to many abandoned children, as she spreads the word of support to new mothers who feel they have no where to turn.  The Garden of Angels is both a sanctuary, and cemetery for abandoned children, and also a place where children can be helped to find homes as they are brought together with loving families. Gregory’s Story
 
The loss of a child is surely one of the most devastating events a parent can experience.  As parents we feel that the appropriate order of things would be that our children outlive us, and that they go on to live happy and prosperous lives.  Two of my closest friends and their daughter survived just such a loss, and as I’ve watched them start to heal over the past several years, I have to commend them on their courage, and their love for one another.  They have shared many encouraging stories with me on how Gregory has made a presence in their lives.  The love that family and friends have for Gregory continues to grow strong, and a foundation that provides scholarships for college was created in his name.  I myself would feel honored to donate a portion of the proceeds of Americo Michael to this cause knowing that Gregory is smiling down from heaven where he lives and thrives.  Gregory, may you live in peace and harmony among the angels, as you guide, and send blessings to your family and friends here on earth.  If you feel compelled to make a donation to this wonderful charity the address is as follows:  The Greg Thompson Memorial Scholarship Fund, 9 Brackett Terrace, Plymton, Ma 02367
