I feel the joy so clear so kind
It wants to be with me
For what is joy but a gift from God?
For all the world to see
A gentle hand on my shoulder lay
From a loved one in my life

I’ve put aside the fight
For I am joy and joy is me

So open up the door
So much to touch so much to taste
The joy is everywhere
I feel the joy in your sweet smile
Your tending loving care
So let’s rejoice in this new day
The joy I feel I see
The joy that comes into my heart
The joy it sets me free |
So I invite you now to stop
And feel the joy so near
It starts with you so let it flow
No time for doubt or fear
For joy is what will bring you hope
For all the world to see
